Bondi Beach

is one of the world’s most famous beaches and has come to be viewed as the quintessential Australian beach. It has played a central role in the development of Australia’s beach culture and in developing our sense of national identity. Closest beach to the city centre, Bondi Beach attracts millions of visitors per year and around 50000 people visit the beach on a typical summer weekend day.

Throughout the year the beach hosts many local and international events such as the annual City to Surf fun run, sculpture exhibition Sculpture by the Sea, the kite flying festival Festival of the Winds and many more.
